As they mentioned in the announcement, "This will roll out over the coming days/weeks." and the update has arrived on July 28, causing issues with audio and video in all virtual platforms used by Google Chrome, including SpatialChat.
We highly recommend using Safari or Firefox web browsers for nearest events in SpatialChat or any other virtual platforms. After August 5, Google will release bug fixes, and everything will be back as usual.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the Chrome update, this case was unpredictable and we will keep informing you of the latest news.
